Dragon’s Dogma, the hack and slash action RPG series from Capcom is making its way to the Nintendo Switch on April 23rd, 2018.
In a tweet from the series’s official Twitter account, the cult-classic last generation game is bringing it’s Dark Arisen release to Nintendo’s hybrid home console, which includes additional content, an extra dungeon Bitterblack Isle, with additional weapons and armor exclusive to that area.
Release in May 2012 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Dragon’s Dogma sets players in the high fantasy world of Gransys and control the Arisen, on their quest to defeat the Dragon, a being said to herald the world’s end. Dark Arisen, a expanded version of the game, was released in 2013 and was received favorably well, sitting around an average 80/100 on MetaCritic across all available platforms.
Fans will be able to pick up the digital version of the game on April 23rd, 2018 from the Nintendo eShop. No information has been stated in regards to a physical release.
