In 2018, no one has had greater year in gaming than Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, in terms of brand growth, and it looks like he will have another opportunity to continue that trend.
In a tweet released by creator Geoff Keighley, he confirms that the massively successful Twitch streamer will be included in the upcoming Game Awards event as a presenter. Ninja is also nominated for the Content Creator of the Year award at the show as well.
Blevins, 27, is coming off a record setting year of streaming on Twitch, including in the categories of followers and views. He also continues to make headlines for his streams that feature a number of pop culture icons, front-lined rapper Drake. Riding the gigantic wave of success in part thanks to the massively popular battle royale game Fortnite, Ninja looks to cap the night off with a ‘victory royale’ in the form of being named Content Creator of the Year.
The Game Awards 2018 are set to air on Thursday, December 6th at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST, and are promised to be filled with multiple performances, surprises and world premiere announcements.
